This Austrian Sauv Blanc is a real joy to drink. It is unmistakable in its brightness, with a whiff of smoke and spice to keep things interesting.
Grown in the steepest vineyards and at the highest elevation in Austria, these mountainside vines have been thoughtfully tended by the Wohlmuth Family since 1803. This is Minimal Intervention winemaking, with zero mechanical assistance and never the use of herbicides or pesticides, they work to craft some of the best wines in all of Austria.

Region: Kitzeck-Sausal, Styria, Austria
Farming: 400-540m elevation, 80% average grade (steepest in Europe), slate soil, late & hand harvested, zero pesticides/herbicides
Winery: 8-16 hour maceration, gentle slow press, spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast in very old, large, oak casks, aged 7 months on lees
