Wine Club Alert! This is the easy going white in the Late Summer Release 2026 box!

I often gravitate towards lesser known grape varietals or regions. But it's especially fun when I get to offer you both at the same time!

So why DO some regions get more recognition than others? Most people think it's just because of quality (patently false). Sometimes I casually chalk it up to marketing (which is indeed a thing). But thanks to a great article from Wine Folly, I was reminded of the 13th century tax that Bordeaux imposed on wines from the Southwest of France in attempt to retain more market share (sound familiar...?) And, for better or for worse, it worked. Today Bordeaux is still known around the world as a "quality wine region" and the SW of France? Only to be discovered when traveling through the region on vacation, or if you are lucky enough to be in a wine club that provides such interesting bottles!

Grapes: Gros Manseng & Petit Manseng

Region: Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, Southwest, France

Good to Know: Sustainable, hand harvested, dry farmed, fermentation & aging on lees in 50 / 50 stainless / oak, vegan
