Vigne Surrau -- ‘Limizzani’ Vermentino di Gallura

This Sardinian Vermentino is such a great surprise. A food wine through and through, it has an oily fullness, while still being on the leaner side due to its northern vineyard site. The Demuro family are native Sardinians and have practiced viticulture for generations. Founded relatively recently in 2001, they are able to maintain Sustainable agricultural practices, aided in part by the strong island winds that keep the vineyards clear of many pests.
