Tomàs Cusiné -- Llebre

Tomàs Cusiné has a great winemaking reputation in Catalunya and it all started 1982 when his family acquired vineyards in the Urgell Plains at Castell del Remei, where Tomàs cut his teeth. In 2003, after years of helping his family in the vineyards and cellar in Castell De Remei, Tomàs created his namesake winery in Costers del Segre and pushed forward. Nearly two decades later his wines still stay true to the ancestral terroir. 30 hectares of his vines are farmed organically, with special attention paid to preserving the natural vegetation of the terroir. They also partner with associated winegrowers in the region, bringing their total area under vine to 70 hectares for Tomàs Cusiné wines.
