A family winery since 1723, Martin Tesch is the current owner. With a degree in microbiology and a passion for Riesling and tradition, Martin has brought his family's winery to the perfect intersection of innovation and tradition -- it comes up again and again, but everything old is new again. By pursuing a traditional and hands-off approach to making dry Riesling in the Nahe, he is also at the same time innovating, because most winemakers haven't returned to this side of things. The winery is internationally recognized for its prized dry Rieslings.
