I’m excited to feature a local winery in this December club, Synne Cellars. While I usually lean toward unfined and unfiltered wines, I admire founder Isaac Schmid's vision: sustainably farmed vineyards, zero additives, and a cellar approach focused on precision and quality. Yes, Synne filters more than many of our other producers, but to me, that choice is driven by creativity and commitment — not shortcuts. They recently opened a tasting room in the historic Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville.
