We couldn’t agree more with Ryan Stirm and his team. They are farmers at heart, spending most of their time working in the vineyard (because they know that with great quality grapes, little needs to be done in the cellar). They follow old-school fundamentals: dry farmed organic viticulture. With each vintage they create a living piece of California history.

This Pinot Noir is a real breakthrough for me personally, as I have often shied away from Cali Pinots. I love the acidity in this vintage and, along with the ever-present earthiness from good Pinots, the classic Cali fruit rounds this wine out to be as enjoyable as it is elegant.

Grapes: Pinot Noir 100%

Good To Know: Single vineyard, dry farmed, zero synthetics, hand harvested, fermented in redwood for 10 days, aged 11 months neutral barrique, racked in stainless 1 month before bottling, unfined / unfiltered
