Six Peaks Winery -- Blanc de Noirs
Six Peaks Winery -- Blanc de Noirs
This is such a special winery to have in our PNW backyard. This vineyard is named for the Five Cascade Mountain peaks that are within view of the Estate, and adding in its own location of Bald Peak, you have the Six Peaks Winery. John and Lynn Albin have many decades of experience in PNW viticulture, and bring their passion and expertise to everything they do.
Planted in 1981, these grapes from Laurel Vineyard are some of the oldest grapes in Oregon, from clones brought over from France in the 1960s. With elevation of 1,000 feet these grapes ripen slowly and retain great acidity, plus the age of the vines imparts wonderful minerality.
