Bodega Rezabal -- Txakoli White

This wine has a sister, a rosé, from the same producer which gets all the attention, but I think the white is just as captivating. Made in a unique Basque style that preserves the natural fresh effervescence of a living wine, the terroir is also quite noteworthy. Located just a mile from the coast, the cool, salty sea air brings a lovely crisp salinity to the trellised vines, trained high above head to allow for the sea breeze to flow gently through and keep the grapes healthy.

Now run by the 3rd generation of the family, Ander and Mireya Rezabal deftly combine modern technology with the ancient tradition of the region and indigenous grape varietals.
