This winery is a passion project from Maria Pia Leone and Massimiliano Bartolomei in Abruzzo, where vineyards climb sun‑drenched hills between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea, whose stony soils and cool breezes shape wines of energy and clarity. Maria’s philosophy is solidly natural, with a deep respect for Biodynamics. Their extra‑virgin olive oil is also Biodynamic and handmade from start to finish. It’s a testament to their lived philosophy.

The vineyards are nourished with ‘green manure’ — leguminous plants grown between the rows to feed the vines naturally, without chemicals. This zero‑kilometre, organic method — meaning the vines are nourished entirely with materials grown on the estate — follows traditional Italian peasant practices that respect the vineyard ecosystem.
