Oriol Rossell -- Cava Brut Nature
Oriol Rossell -- Cava Brut Nature
I love this Cava for so many reasons -- it’s affordability, it’s high-end taste, and the estate’s dedication to natural farming. This is a triple threat wine; usually you can have 2 of those qualities but not all 3 at the same time. Their entire estate is naturally rain fed, and they encourage the native plants to grow amongst the vines.
This is a family operation of course, with printed records dating back to 1497 with Pere Joan Rossell as winemaker and owner of their first country house. The current family home amongst the vines dates back to 1638, and their history continues through the centuries.
