Mylonas -- Savatiano

Mylonas is a small 3rd generation family winery just south of Athens. While 3 generations is relatively young in this part of the world, they are still doing their part to nourish the rich history of this region’s prized grape variety for over 3,000 years -- Savatiano. Their philosophy centers around minimal intervention from vine to bottle; this is of course environmentally friendly and socially responsible choice, but it’s also the best way to consistently make fine wine.

As far as Savatiano goes, this is one of the lighter styles. Stone fruit & white flowers, with classic herbaceous texture. Lees aging and stirring offers good texture and warmth.
