Leiner -- Riesling Trocken

Leiner is a family business located in the southern Pfalz region of Germany. For over 40 years their passion and dedication has kept them going. In 2005 they went fully Organic, and in 2011 they applied and received their Demeter certification for Biodynamics without a waiting period (no small feat! Most farms need a transition period to eliminate pesticides from the land etc but they were ready to go!).

Trocken is the German word for dry, meaning not sweet – a helpful distinction for the Riesling novice! Captivating the imagination of many a wine lover, Riesling is a fascinating and delicious grape in any style.
