Haden Fig -- Chardonnay
Haden Fig -- Chardonnay
Now one of Oregon’s foremost biodynamic estates, founder/winemaker Erin Nuccio found his passion for wine as an adult. Oregon Pinot Noir stuck with him as he began envisioning a life in the vineyard. Landing in Oregon’s Willamette Valley gave him the terroir necessary to fulfil this dream, and under the tutelage of Russ and Mary Raney of Evesham Wood Winery he gained the skills necessary to launch his own project: Haden Fig. The owl featured on this label is the Saw-whet, a natural predator for small rodents in the vineyard, and has become a symbol for sustainable agriculture. Haden Fig is about a shared passion for making exceptionally complex and balanced wines in the heart of Oregon's Willamette Valley, guided by an uncompromising commitment to crafting non-irrigated wines.
