Grochau Cellars -- Melon de Bourgogne
Grochau Cellars -- Melon de Bourgogne
Owner/winemaker John Grochau discovered his love for wine while racing bicycles for a French team in the Loire Valley. Upon his return to his Portland home, a career in the restaurant industry further solidified his deep appreciation for wine. After several years working alongside Oregon Biodynamic pioneer winemaker Doug Tunnel at Brick House Vineyards he founded his own label, Grochau Cellars. He strives to make wines that are balanced, textured, and expressive of place. Do you sense a theme here? Terroir is where it’s at!
