This is a 3rd generation family winery led by Angelika and Philipp Grassl in the town of Göttlesbrunn in Lower Austria, focusing on local grape varietals. Fun fact: ‘lower’ doesn’t mean southern here; it refers to the low elevation along the Danube River in Austria’s northeasternmost region.) Their wines are “honest, down-to-earth, timeless, and distinctive.”
