Ermisch Cellars -- Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir
Ermisch Cellars -- Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir
After more than a decade of making wine in Argentina at Bodega Calle, Kirk Ermisch decided to also try his hand at some classic Oregon varietals, since his import business had been based in Oregon all along. His daughter Hannah has joined him in the Oregon side of things, and together they craft some of the most classically scrumptious wines out of the Willamette Valley. Stopping at nothing to source premier fruit, he perhaps surprisingly then practices nearly hands-off winemaking; a risky proposition for some, but when you trust in the fruit and the process, a sort of alchemy happens. Enjoy said alchemy!
