Domaine Santa Giulietta -- Vin de Corse Rosé

From the beautiful French island of Corsica comes one of this season’s best rosés. Domaine Santa Giulietta has been part of the Stefani Family since 1870 with Christian Orsucci (the mayor of Tallone) currently running this 75 hectare property on the eastern plains of Corsica. Hot and windy summer days are balanced by cool night breezes coming off the mountains. With a regional focus on rosé, and 70% of this winery’s annual production also going towards rosé, it’s no surprise the result is so delicious. For most wineries rosé is an afterthought, a byproduct, something to be checked off a list – not so here!

Grape: Nielluccio (Sangiovese) 40%, Sciaccarellu 35%, Grenache 25%
