Since the 16th century, the Pélaquié family has cultivated vineyards where their estate still thrives, carrying a legacy passed down through generations. Luc Pélaquié transformed the small family operation into a modern winery focused on quality and terroir expression, honoring ancestral wisdom in every bottle. Breaking free from the Saint Victor cooperative in 2008, the estate now manages everything – from organic vineyard care to bottling – ensuring authenticity and freshness. Tavel is the only French appellation devoted entirely to rosé, crafting uniquely dark, bold, and structured wines shaped by sun-drenched limestone soils and a warm Mediterranean climate – packed with vibrant fruit and spice and surprisingly versatile with food compared to lighter rosés.
Grapes: Cinsault & Grenache
Region: Tavel, Rhône, France
