The 9th generation of his family, Frederic took over the family estate in 1986. Caring deeply about the ecology of his vineyards, he began the certification process for sustainable farming with Terra Vitis in 2000 and began the organic certification process with Ecocert in 2006. He now farms with his 17 year old son Victor, whose name and artwork are featured on several of his wines. Victor plans to continue the family legacy, and is pursuing a “vigne et vin” program in school.
