Domaine Fond Croze -- Cairanne

The Long family’s story on this land began 100 years ago, after World War I. When Charles Long returned from battle, he put down roots – literally – planting the land with a vision for his family’s future. Soon his son would join him, and so the family legacy begins. But it wasn’t until 1997 that they finally started making wine under their own label. Now, four generations later, Guillaume Long carries the family tradition, and in 2009, the estate returned to organic farming, solidifying their respect for the land and commitment to quality.

This wine is a wonderful slice of the Southern Rhône – deep black fruits, plenty of herbs, spice, and earth, all in perfect balance. Aging in stainless steel keeps it fresh and lively, just in time for spring.

Grapes: Grenache 60%, Carignan 20%, Mourvèdre 20%
