Domaine de la Vieille Julienne -- Lieu-dit Clavin Blanc
The land has been tended as a vineyard estate since the 1600s, and by the family since 1905. Their slopes are uniquely positioned towards the north, which in an increasingly warm planet is ever-important. In fact, their estate is the only contiguous north-facing estate in the entire region. Northern slopes allow for slower maturation of grapes, and ever-present elegance and balance.
Never opened a bottle with a wax cap before? It’s easy! Just screw right down through the wax, no need to remove anything before inserting the screw. And voilà!
