One vineyard. One winegrower.

Domaine Michel Brégeon has always approached this typically light and fresh varietal in a unique way – aging their wines on the lees for sometimes as long as 7 years, they prove vintage after vintage that the Muscadet style can indeed be complex and age-worthy. Founded in 1975 by Michel, Fred Lailler is the current owner/winemaker in 2010. Since Fred was actually born IN a Muscadet vineyard, there is no question he is a natural ;)

Grape: Melon de Bourgogne 100%

Region: Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, Loire Valley, France

Farming: Organic (Ecocert), 4-65 year old vines, hand harvested

Winery: Spontaneous fermentation with wild yeast, aged on the lees in glass-lined tanks for 40 (!) months before bottling in February 2015
