So how would we ever find out about such a guy and his vines anyway? That’s why I love working with small importers who take the time, as I do, to source hard to find wine from all corners of the globe. Burgundy has no shortage of wine producers, yet we still have room to be surprised by producers like Devevey. His goal is always to get the finished product to taste the way the fruit does in the field, freshly picked from the vine.
