Dama Wines -- Grenache
Dama Wines -- Grenache
“Dangerously Beautiful. Created, owned, managed by women. Wines for everyone.”
Mary Derby is the powerhouse behind Dama Wines. She is a self-proclaimed cowgirl from Minnesota, a classically trained opera singer, and yes, winemaker too. 2001 was her first vintage in Walla Walla.
There were only 100 cases produced of this Grenache, so you are one of the lucky few who will ever taste this juice. Sourced from north-facing slopes in a cooler part of the Yakima Valley, the vines still see little shade and enjoy an extended growing season – well-ripened while still maintaining its acidity. Yum.
