Jean-Claude Mas is current winemaker and descendant of founder August Mas. He grew up on the vineyard, and though wine was simply a hobby for several years  before formally continuing his family’s legacy, he always fed his passion through various projects such as founding a small import company for Organic wine, and starting a wine club in England.

This wine WAY over-delivers for the price. Classic Southern French herbs and spice on the nose, followed by a wonderfully balanced mouthfeel. Pair with everything and nothing, you'll be fine.

Grape: Grenache Noir 30%, Carignan 30%, Syrah 25%, Mourvèdre 15%

Region: Corbières, Languedoc-Roussillon, France

Farming: Old vines, hand harvested on steep slopes

Winery: All varietals vinified separately, aged 6 months French & American oak
