Château Haut-Blanville -- Solal Blanc
Château Haut-Blanville -- Solal Blanc
The adventure began in 1995 when Beatrice and Bernard Nivolett decided to start a completely new life. At age 45, they moved from Paris to the Languedoc with their four children. They were head-over-heels in love with the area and dreamed of crafting single parcel wines in the tradition of Burgundian “climats.” They settled in the 16th century village of Pézenas near Montpellier and began the hard work of realizing their dream. Instead of buying an existing domain, they planted their own wine estate, parcel by parcel, with their first vintage finally being ready in 1997.
Effortlessly easy-drinking, light, refreshing, uncomplicated. I keep a bottle of this wine in my fridge at all times! It truly over-delivers for the price.
