Château de Manissey -- Tavel Rosé
Château de Manissey -- Tavel Rosé
“Our customers deserve good quality wines that are safe to drink. Besides, we are the primary consumers of our own wines.” – Florian André, winemaker
A vineyard since the 1600s, during WWI it was bequeathed to the Missionary Brothers of the Holy Family, who live at the Château to this day. However as the brotherhood aged, a vineyard manager was necessary. Enter Florian André, a 7th generation Tavel winemaker who joined the Brothers in 2003. While the land had been farmed Sustainably for generations, they weren’t exactly adhering to Organic Standards. Florian transitioned 100% of their vineyards to Organic and Biodynamic for long term soil health.
