Château Cassagne -- Bordeaux Rouge

Well, this is what happens when I want to bring mad deals to my wine club. A wine without a story. But I trust the direct importer I bought from, and since you trust me, all will be well. This is a seriously drinkable $12 bottle of red from one of the world’s most revered regions. So why is it so cheap? It has zero brand or name recognition, and definitely a small quantity was shipped over, so product placements at large grocery chains can’t happen. I can’t even track down which grapes are in here (but it’s Bordeaux, so we don’t have to guess too long). But when you want a red that has the Mineralista stamp of approval and you are still thinking good wine can cost $10, well, here you go. I’ll be right behind you!

Grapes: Who knows! But definitely a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and possibly some Cabernet Franc (we’re in Bordeaux after all!)
