Antica Fratta NV -- Cuvée Real Franciacorta Brut
Antica Fratta NV -- Cuvée Real Franciacorta Brut
“Since 1979 enthusiasm, work, and attention to details.”
The Antica Fratta estate dates back to the 1600s in terms of the structures, the 1800s in terms of the winery, and the 1970s for its current iteration; Franco Ziliani fell in love with the land and now brings this exquisite example of classical method italian sparkling wine to us.
Franciacorta is both a style and a region in Northern Italy, just like Champagne is a style and a region in France. And the similarities don’t end there, because unlike Italy’s famous mass-produced style of Prosecco, which has no regional home, Franciacorta is made in the same method as Champagne, giving it a more robust and characterful palate.
