Cingilia -- Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Southwesterly exposed vines trained high above head on pergolas sets the scene for this lovely Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. Relatively young vines still produce a very worthy wine. Fabio Di Donato started this vineyard and winery from scratch in 2013 out of a “passion for nature, respect for traditions and the innate vocation of the area.” He sees his mission through by nurturing indigenous varietals, farming organically, and fermenting with ambient yeasts.
